Well, today is a down. On the upside, my laptop is beastly still with this new SSD.

Why god, why didn't I do this before when it was recommended to me?

Starry Eyed

Hit hit hit hit me with lightning.

The name of the title of this blog is the title of a song I used to listen to that reminded me of the man I love.

Well, now hate. But have loved for 3 years.

"You look at me, it's like you hit me with lightning."

Oh to be in love. It's a great feeling. Except when it's not.

I digress - I don't feel like upsetting myself.

Midnight

So my mom went back home. I admit I was a wee bit sad when she left.

She called and told me that someone broke into her home while she was away.

How upsetting!

So I am alone again. Glad to have my space to myself, but I guess I miss having my parents closer.

Anyway, I am in the market for a desktop PC but I am in less of a hurry now that I have installed an SSD in my laptop. 

It didn't even move this fast when I got it out of the box, brand new! So I'm stoked :)

Photoshop and GIMP and SL load in seconds!

Yellow Jacket

At the time of this blog, it's my mother's last day.

She has been drugging me this whole week with Melatonin.

To make me go to sleep. So I am writing this, zombie like.

Not too much rambling. But it's been a nice visit. I'll be somewhat sad to see her go.

Sippin' with Reciepts

Have yall heard of the new BBL body by Yentements?

I have been hyped about it being released.

Well it's finally available on the grid. 

I demo'd it, L$1.00. I liked that it was curvy but I couldn't get the hips to be less wide and I couldn't get the butt to look like the other women demoing it.

I just am not that talented at building shapes.

Anyway, the cooch was fat AF, too. LOL.

I'm gonna sit this one out for now, but I am still hella hyped about the body. 

Congrats to the creator, Kaitlyn and the women who will be able to rock it :)

If You Seek Amy

At the time of this blog post, my mom and I are watching Cheaters.

I have learned the gorgeous host, Clark Gable III is a descendant of Clark Gable (Rhett Butler) and has passed away at the age of 30 two weeks ago! 

Now I am sad because I am enjoying him on this show. 

I googled and learned that the show is fake and gave the news to my mom who now hates me.

But we still enjoy watching the show. Plus while we watch it, I get to blog and mom watches.

It's a great set up and I am glad she finally gets to see what makes me happy. 

Hopefully, she will understand it better, too.

Well, back to Cheaters! 

Is that You, Spring?

I am helping my mom prepare food (as of the creation of this blog) and so I am between blogging and foody. 

I am shocked I was able to get a blog in. 

She was more lenient than I anticipated about my SL use so I was able to get to Skin Fair and spend 5k on make up LMAO.

Plus the other events. Here I thought I was gonna be way behind!

Little Tea Pots

Hey guys.

Still chilling out, my mother is in town and as I have stated, she doesn't fancy SecondLife so I blogged this outfit like over a week ago but you're just now seeing it today.

I made a post on FB about my mom coming into town and being a little dramatic about having her way so I expect I'll see it on SL Secrets LOL.

Well, wait, I won't see it … I don't read that nonsense any more but I am sure it'll be there.

SXSW

In my youth I liked to go to SXSW, a music festival held in Austin, TX during Spring Break.

I would go with my brother and his girlfriend.

All my life I have been a 3rd wheel but I never really felt left out, so that's good at least.

Anyway, I got my first ever tattoo on 6th Street and saw some bands that I still rock out to even today.

I am a little older now and don't do crowds and noise as much but I will always remember SXSW fondly and that's why I named this post after the festival.

Opposites Attract

I'm at my other job, my primary one. Not the fun one where I get to enjoy 100+mbps.

I'm at the one where it connects when it wants and when it does, it's slower than my measly 12mbps my AT&T internet allows at home.

So I am not in a good mood and I am not interested in spending more time talking when I am on lunch, trying to knock this out. So toodles.
